COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) -- The Big Ten era is upon us, as the Maryland Terrapins prepare to face stiff (really stiff) competition in 2014.
It looks to be a "tale of two halves" of the season, because Big Ten Play starts on September 27, against Indiana, in Indy.
Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin, Penn State, Michigan State, Michigan and Rutgers are all slated for the rest of the season.
The good news is that QB C.J. Brown and WR Stefon Diggs are healthy and ready to play this year. Coach Randy Edsall says this team will benefit from switching conferences because the competition and recruiting are just better.
