A man has been arrested by the University of Maryland police for allegedly breaking into the house of a student in College Park, MD.

When reporting the incident to police, the student stated the suspect entered her off-campus home through a door that was left unlocked.  When she confronted him, he told her he was looking to rent a room in the residence.  The suspect took off running after she asked him to leave.

James Francis Mohler, 51, of College Park, MD was arrested near the victims home and charged with burglary.

The break-in still causes concern with College Park residents and University police because the area where the break-in occurred is an area where many College Park students live.
