Police: 6 UMD students robbed inside dorm | News
COLLEGE PARK, Md. (WUSA9) - Six University of Maryland students were robbed at gunpoint inside a dorm at the College Park campus, according to police.
The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday in a room at Montgomery Hall.
According to police, the six students were inside a residence hall room when someone knocked on the door. When a student opened the door, police said a man asked if the student knew someone. The suspect then forced his way into the room and showed a gun, police said. Another man also went into the room and police said both stole property from the victims, then fled.
No injuries have been reported.
